Clipping hand dated Nov 18 1943 Vade E. Burrough Vade E. Burroughs, 76, a native of Losantville who has been a resident of New Castle for the past 30 years, died Wednesday afternoon at her home following an illness of six weeks. Survivors include 2 daughters, Mrs. Mabel Thompson and Mrs. Cecil Carlin of New Castle; a sister, Mrs. Ada Retter of Dayton, O.; 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Losantville Christian Church. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery nearby. The body will be taken from the Main and Sons funeral home to the Carlin residence on Indiana 38 east of New Castle, where friends may call after 7 o'clock this evening.
