Clipping hand dated 8/26/56 Mrs. Nellie Burton Dies; Funeral Will be Held Wednesday Mrs. Nellie Burton, 79, widow of Elva Burton, died Sunday morning at the Boxwoods Nursing Home after an extended illness. She was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Anah Devine of Moline, Ill., and Mrs. Floyd Conn, New Castle; two sons, Arthur Burton of Cincinnati and Cecil Burton, Baton Rouge, La., eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. A.J. Male of Kokomo and five brothers, Ralph and George Connerly of New Castle, Jess Connerly of Lawrence County, Harold Connerly of Mitchell and Rufus Connerly of Pensacola, Fla. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m in the Main and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Russell Youngblood and Rev. John Roberts officiating. Burial will be in South Mound Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home after 7 tonight.
