Clipping hand dated 7/14/54 Mrs. Butler, 56, Dies After Illness; Funeral Saturday Mrs. Della Hollars Butler, 56, of 1315 S. 21st Street, died in the Henry County Hospital last night, following an illness of several weeks. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Marion A. Smith, with whom she had made her home, and Mrs. William N. Platts Jr. of New Castle; and three brothers, Lloyd and Roy Baker of Burnside, Ky., and Opal Baker of Muncie. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Airman 3-C Jerry Lee Smith of Shephard Field, Texas; Gibby Dean Smith, Janet Lee McKechnie and Cheryl Lynn Platts all of New Castle. Friends may call at the Fox and Macer funeral home after 7 o'clock tonight. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the First Nazarene Church with the Rev. George Scutt in charge. Burial will be in the South Mound Cemetery. The body will be taken to the church one hour before services.
