Elmer Catt, 76, 807 Broad St., died this morning at the Henry County hospital following an illness of two weeks.
Born near New Castle, Mr. Catt had lived in Spiceland and in New Castle for the past 27 yeras. An employe of the Chrysler plant for 37 years, Mr. Catt retired two years ago. He was a member of the First Christian church.
Survivors include the widow, Betty; three daughters, Mrs. Hobart Starbuck, Mrs. Nelson Smith, Mrs. Wilbur Conway, all of New Castle; one stepson, Leonard Darling, New Castle; three brothers, Edgar, Sherman, of New Castle, and Omar, of Anderson; 13 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Main and Son funeral home. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
