Clipping hand dated Oct 28, 1947 Mrs. Odessa Conn Mrs. Odessa Conn, 75, widow of Sant Conn, died at her home at 813 S. 21st St., this morning, following an illness of two weeks. A life-long resident of New Castle, Mrs. Conn was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren church, the War Mothers, the G.A.R. and Women's Relief corps and of the Daughters of America. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Fred Utt of near Mooreland, Mrs. Harry Stinson and Mrs. Paul Garten of New Castle; three sons, John H. of Rockville, Cletus and Floyd of New Castle; 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. C.H. Yost, of Sulphur Springs. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Evangelical United Brethren church by Rev. Russell Youngblood and burial will be in Miller cemetery. The body will be returned from Main and Sons funeral home to the residence where friends may call after noon on Wednesday.
