Clipping hand dated 6/27/55 Mrs. Ivor Conners Dies; Services to be 2:30 Thursday Mrs. Ivor Conners, 52, wife of Ervin Conners, 2017 S. 18th St., died at 3 p.m. Monday in the Henry County Hospital. Death followed a brief illness. Surviving besides the husband are a son, Ivan Gibson, of New Castle; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Smith of New Castle and Mrs. Sadie Smith of Nashville, Tenn., two brothers, Hunter Gibson of Westwood and Willard Gibson of Argon, Wisc., and one grand-daughter, Nadine Gibson, of New Castle. A son, Pfc. Willard G. Gibson, was killed Dec 28, 1944 in World War II during the Battle of the Bulge. Mrs. Conners was a member of the Baptist Church at Celina, Tenn. Friends may call at the Macer Funeral Home after noon Wednesday. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the Funeral home with Rev. Tommy Akers officiating. Burial will be in South Mound cemetery.
