Funeral services for Leslie G. Corum, 64, 2009 Plum St., who died unexpectedly Friday at his home after an illness of about two hours, will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Main and Sons funeral home. Rev. R.E. Halls, pastor of the First Baptist church, of which Mr. Corum was a member, will conduct the rites. Burial will be in South Mound cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 o'clock this afternoon.
Corum had been employed at the Chrysler plant, and before that at the Maxwell-Briscoe plant, since 1909. He was a member of the Eagles and Moose lodges and the Gold Star Fathers of the VFW.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Harold D. Wantz, Mrs. Nancy Miller, Mrs. Orville T. Fannin of New Castle and Mrs. Everett F. Wimmer Jr of Richmond; four sons, J.W. Corum of Toledo, CFC Kenneth L. Corum, navyman of Norfolk, Va., Max L. and Homer Corum of New Castle; 13 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Homer E. Marley of New Castle.
