James Daffron, 59, Dies in Residence Funeral Saturday

James A. Daffron, 59, died Wednesday morning in his home, 1522 S. 17th St.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. James Pfenninger of DuBois, Idaho, Mrs. Jack Blevins, of Spiceland, and Miss Martha Daffron of New Castle; three sons, Homer of Sanford, Fla., Joseph of Longwood, Fla., and James Jr. of Longwood, Fla., two sisters, Mrs. Linnie Stephenson of Shelbyville and Mrs. Stella Eller of Jabez, Ky,; one brother, Cleave, of Monticello, Ky., 10 grandchildren,; one niece, Mrs. Ruby Crabtree of New Castle.

He was employed at Chrysler Corp. Dept 85 for the past 30 years. He was a member of local 371 UAW-CIO.

Friends may call at Macer Funeral home after 7 p.m. today.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. R.E. Pavy in charge. Burial will be in South Mound cemetery.
