Clipping hand dated 6/22/54 Mrs. Anna Dameron Dies After Illness; Rites are Thursday Mrs. Anna L. Dameron, 55, of 534 N. Main St., died this morning at the Henry County Hospital after a long illness. She was born in Virginia but had lived in New Castle 42 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ of N. 14th St. Survivors include the husband, George W. Dameron; a daughter, Mrs. Yvonne Bryan of this city; a daughter, Vivian Louise, preceded her in death; a granddaughter, Cynthia Bryan, and a step-granddaughter, Linda Bryan; two sisters, Mrs. Rachel Keith and Mrs. Howard Byrd; and a brother, Tilden Lawson, all of New Castle. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Church of Christ on N. 14th St. by Rev. E.M. Zerr; burial will be in Hillsboro Cemetery. The body will be taken from the Main and Sons funeral home to the residence where friends may call after 7 o'clock this evening.
