Clipping dated Oct 27, 56 Mrs. Bertha Davis, Lifelong Resident, Is Dead at Age 87 Mrs. Bertha Harvey Davis, 87, died Saturday afternon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Otha Bradford in Mt. Summit. A member of a pioneer New Castle family, Mrs. Davis was born here, the daughter of John R. and Julia Livezey Harvey, and was a lifelong resident of the city. She belonged to the War Mothers and the Christian Church. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Belle Woodworth of New Castle. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 in the Stanley Mortuary with Rev. J.C. Roberts of the E.U.B. Church officiating. Burial will be in South Mound Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary any time.
