Clipping hand dated 12/16/44 Mrs. Eva Dingle Mrs. Eva E. Dingle, age 36, wife of Everett Dingle, 1012 S. Main St., died this morning at the Henry County hospital after an illness of 2 months. Mrs. Dingle was a life-long resident of New Castle. She was a graduate of the New Castle high school and was a member of the 1st Christian Church. Mrs. Dingle had been manager of the New Castle Credit Rating Bureau for 16 years. Surviving besides the husband are the mother, Mrs. Josephine Cross; 1 sister, Mrs. Martha Graham, of New Castle; 3 brothers, John Cross and Howard Cross of New Castle, and Earl Cross of Jackson, Mich. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the 1st Christian church with the Rev. Melvyn Thompson officiating. Burial will be in South Mound cemetery. Friends may call at the Main and Sons funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.
