Contributed by Mariah (Kendall) Allen Courier Times Thursday Jan. 3, 1963 p. 2 c. 5 Charlotta Dishman dies in Rest home after long illness Lewisville- Mrs Charlotta Elizabeth Dishman, 82, died today in New Hope Nursing Home in Lewisville after an extended illness. She was the widow of William C. Dishman. Mrs. Dishman was born in Pershing and lived in Lewisville community for the past 76 years. Survivors are five daughters Mrs. Earl Brown, Mrs. Herschell Hawk and Mrs. Frances Howe of New Castle, Mrs Anna Ware of Spice land, and Helen Kendall of Lewisville four son’s Albert of Cambridge City Ernest of Muncie William and Robert of Lewisville one brother Thorton Agal of New Castle 49 grandchildren, 83 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 pm in Doll Funeral Home at Lewisville with Rev. Marion L Hickman officiating. Burial will be in Lewisville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 pm Friday.
