John D. Dunaway, Veteran Chrysler Employe, Is Dead

John D. Dunaway, 59, husband of Mildred C. Dunaway, 1011 S. 18th St., died Sunday evening at the Henry County Hospital after an illness of several weeks.

A resident of New Castle for 40 years, he had been employed by the Chrysler Corp for 39 years.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Robert Cronk of New Castle, Mrs. Paul Stevens of Russell's Point, Ohio, and Mrs. James Neal of Muncie; two sons, Phillip of Indianapolis and Douglas Dunaway, at home; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Torrence and Mrs. Charles Simerly, both of New Castle; one brother, Floyd Dunaway of Fort Wayne.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Macer Funeral Home by Rev. R.E. Pavy. Burial will be in South Mound Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
