Mrs. James Duncan, 1411 S. 21st St., will celebrate her 85th birthday on Saturday, March 28th and in honor of the day, her sons, Robert Duncan of Wellsburg, W.Va, and Davis Duncan of Indianapolis will entertain at an open house.
Friends are invited to call on Mrs. Duncan during the open house which will be held on Easter Sunday, March 29th from 3:00 until 5:00 o'clock in the Social Room of the First Presbyterian Church.
Assisting in entertaining will be Robert Duncan's daughter, Mrs. Jack Kreci of Steudenville, Ohio and Davis Duncan's wife, Pauline.
Mrs. Duncan is a native of Kilbirnie, Scotland and lived in Boston, Mass., before making New Castle her home since 1915.
Margaret Duncan is a great favorite of many her many friends, who are endeared to her by her matchless wit and enthusiasm for living. She is an ardent Presbyterian, a tireless worker for the Henry County Hospital Auxiliary and is beloved by every young person in her acquaintence.
