Clipping dated 2/7/57 Mrs. Hafer, 84, Is Dead; Rites Set for Saturday Mrs. Nettie Hafer, 84, widow of D.D. Hafer, residing at 564 1/2 N. 12th St., died today at the Henry County Hospital following an illness of several weeks. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Marie Ridout of Fontana, Calif., a sister, Mrs. Nora Benner of Atwood, Ill., a granddaughter, Mrs. Alvin Wilhite of Littletown, Calif., four grandsons, Harry Ridout of R. 2, New Castle, George Ridout of Fontana, Calif., Richard Ridout of Covina, Calif., and Robert Ridout of Glen View, Ill., and 12 great-grandchildren. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and a member of the Women's Missionary Society of the church. Friends may call at the Macer Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Friday and services will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Saturday with Rev. R.E. Pavy in charge. Burial will be in South Mound Cemetery.
