Clipping hand dated Oct 18, 66 Ruth Harvey, 68, Shirley Native, Dies in Hospital Mrs. Ruth Ann Harvey, 68, died unexpectedly Tuesday evening in Henry County Hospital. She was the wife of Claude Harvey, 1110 S. 18th St. Mrs. Harvey was born in Shirley and lived in New Castle most of her life. She was a member of the First Christian Church and the Gleaners Class. Survivors with the husband are one daughter, Mrs. Walter P. Rapp of Ridgewood, N.J.; one son, Wayne M. Harvey of Indianapolis; five brothers, Chester, Virgil, George, Merrill and Ralph Cronk, all of New Castle; two sisters, Mrs. William Shults of New Castle and Mrs. George L. Beam of Richmond; four grandchildren. Friends may call at Couden Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Thursday and the family will be in the funeral home from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. to receive callers. Funeral services will be in the funeral home Friday at 10 a.m. with Rev. William McKinney of the First Christian Church in charge. Burial will be in South Mound Cemetery.
