Robt. Hobadier Sr. Dies After 2-Year Illness at Hospital

Robert Hobadier Sr., 70, 721 N. Main St., died Sunday morning in the Henry County hospital. He had been ill for two years.

Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Julia Hobadier; a daughter, Mrs. James Piper of Willow Branch; a son, Robert Hobadier Jr. of Chicago, Ill.; four grandchildren, and a great grandchild.

Except for three years of his life, Hobadier was a resident of New Castle. He was born in Cincinnati. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge and was employed as a repairman at Schuffman's Furniture Store.

The body has been taken from the Macer Funeral Home to the residence at 721 N. Main St., where friends may call after 2 p.m. today.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Macer Funeral Home with Rev. George W. Hurt officiating. Burial will be in South Mound Cemetery.
