Hariet Kiddey, 92, a former New Castle resident, died Wednesday evening in the Methodist Memorial Home at Warren following an extended illness. She had been a resident of the Methodist Home since March 23, 1951.
She was born at New Castle, Aug. 3, 1874, and was the daughter of the late George and Mary Hibben Mahin.
She was a retired bookkeeper and a member of the First Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Jeannette Kiddey of New Castle; one cousin, Mrs. Leo Deem of Indianapolis; and one nephew, Robert Rex of New Castle. A son, Dr. H. Edward Kiddey, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in Methodist Memorial Chapel with Rev. Albert Clark officiating. Friends may call at the Methodist Memorial Home after 6 p.m. today.
Graveside services will be at 3:15 p.m. Saturday in South Mound Cemetery.
