The Muncie Morning Star, Friday, December 6, 1904 NEW CASTLE NAIL MILL WILL NOT BE REBUILT Indiana Rolling Mill Co., Will Operate Harrow Disc Department- Loss to the City Transcribed and Contributed by DJ Faust New Castle, Ind., Dec. 5.- Probabilities are that the nail plant of the Chicago Steel Manufacturing company which burned November 8, with a loss of $75,000, will not be rebuilt in this city. The fire was a serious financial blow to the proprietors and they can hardly rebuild the plant here or anywhere else. The Indiana Rolling Mill company may operate the harrow disc department but will not give any attention to the department.
