The picture is that of the jury of the Henry Circuit court which returned a verdict of involuntary manslaughter against Haley Gipe,l who was on trial for the alleged murder of Mrs. Mollie Starbuck and infant daughter on the Kern farm near Greensboro on the night of July 9. Their names are: Daviud Kutz, of Liberty township; John Ramsey, of Wayne township; Benton Reasoner, of Fall Creek township; Thomas Current, of Stoney Creek township; Oren Pickering, of Fall Creek township; George R. Fleming, of Jefferson township; Frank Dare, of Dudley township; Jacob Yaukley, of Liberty township; John H. Hewitt, of Liberty townsip; Harvey Millikan, of Spiceland township, and William Brown, of Blue River township.

The gentleman in the center of the back row is Court Bailiff William Macy, who was with the jury continually for the nine days the trial occupied. All the jurymen are farmers.
