Contributed by Mariah (Kendall) Allen Paladium-Item Oct 20, 1978 Page 4 Column 2 Mrs. Stella Parkhurst Dublin- Stella Catherine Parkhurst 91 died Thursday afternoon at Henry County Memorial Hospital in New Castle following an extended illness. She had formerly been a patient at the New Castle Health Care Center. Her husband Charles E. Parkhurst died in 1950. She was a native of Franklin County but had spent most of her lifetime in the Dublin area. She was also a former member of Presbyterian Church in Lewisville. Survivors included two daughters Mabel M Carson of Dublin and Helen L. O'Neill of Abilene, Texas one son Otto C. Parkhurst R.R. 2 Cambridge City, one sister Edith Everheart of Fairmont 12 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mrs. Parkhurst will be at 1:30 pm Saturday in Howard and Son Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City with the Rev. Harmeon Thrasher of the Gospel Mission Church of Dublin officiating. Burial will be in Lewisville Cemetery. Friends may call after 2pm today and until time of Funeral services at the Funeral chapel.
