Contributed by Mariah (Kendall) Allen Courier-Times New Castle Indiana Monday December 18, 1950 P.4 C.2 Parkhurst, 67, Farmer, Dies Charles E. Parkhurst, 67, well known farmer residing southwest of New Castle, died Saturday night in the Henry County hospital. He was a former resident of the Lewisville community and was a member of Lewisville Presbyterian Church. Surviving are the Widow, Mrs Stella Parkhurst, two daughters Mrs. Helen Dishman RR 3 and Mrs. Mabel Carson Dublin, a son Otto Parkhurst RR 3, 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The body has been taken from the Stanley mortuary to the residence on the Joe Meyers farm where friends may call and where services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 oclock with Rev. A. F. Byrne officiating. Burial will be in the Lewisville Cemetery.
