Clipping hand dated March 28, 1963 Sellie Parnell, 64, Dies in Hospital After Long Illness Sellie E. Parnell, 64, died this morning in Henry County Hospital following an illness of several weeks. He resided at 1650 Q Ave and was a retired Chrysler Corporation employee. Survivors are the wife, Edith A. Parnell; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Opal) Andrews of Greenwood; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Merrill (Betty) Chappell of New Castle; one stepson, Robert Mettert of New Castle; one sister, Mrs. Rosa Watts of Sunman; his stepmother, Mrs. Mary Jane Abbott of Cincinnati, Ohio; two step-sisters, seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Macer Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home with burial to follow in South Mound Cemetery.
