Clarence Lee Plunkett, 64, an employee of the City Water and Light Plant for 30 years, died at 7 a.m. today in his home on Midway Drive. He had been ill for several months.
Plunkett was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a veteran of World War I.
Surviving are: the widow, Mrs. Hattie Plunkett; two daughters, Mrs. Robert Holcomb of Mooreland R.R.1, and Mrs. Fred Criswell of New Castle; a son, Arthur Plunkett of New Castle; three stepsons, James McGaughey of New Castle, Paul Beck of New Castle and Ray Ronefelt of Peoria, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Ollie Williams and Mrs. Luther Smith, of New Castle; a brother, Jess Plunkett of New Castle, and four grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Macer Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
