Charles C. Polk, 69, Apt. 216 Bradway Building, died this morning in the Henry County Hospital following a cerebral hemorrhage suffered Monday night while visiting at the home of Dan Griffin.
Mr. Polk was a retired Chrysler employe where he had worked for 44 years in Dept. 80. He was a member of the First Methodist Church.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Mary E. Polk; a sister, Mrs. Maude Fisher of Muncie and a brother, Lindsa Polk of near New Castle and several nieces and nephews. A son, James Edward Polk, preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the Stanley Mortuary after 1 p.m. Wednesday. Services will be conducted there Thursday at 2 p.m. with Rev. J. Thomas Frost officiating. Burial will be in South Mound Cemetery.
