Harry Showalter, Retired Chrysler Man, Dead at 66

Harry Showalter, 66, Elliott Court, died Saturday morning at the Henry County Hospital after an illness of three months.

A lifelong resident of Henry County, Mr. Showalter was a retired 30-year employee of the Chrysler plant. He was a member of the Christian Church in Mt. Summit.

Surviving are the widow, Bertha; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Lewis of near Mooreland and Mrs. Kathryn Lockhart of Cincinnati; two sons, Richard of Muncie and Adam who lives in Florida; five grandchildren, Vivian, Richard and David Showalter of Muncie and Marlene and Willis Lewis of near Mooreland; a sister, Miss Anna Showalter of Springport.

Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Main and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. R. Melvyn Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Summit Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday.
