Clipping hand dated 12/16/53 Mrs. John H. Stern Dies at Home of Daughter Here Mrs. Pearl M. Stern, 73, widow of John H. Stern, died at six o'clock this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John W. Stillwell, 920 Plum St. Surviving besides her daughter are two brothers, Arlie McCormack of Cadiz and Joe McCormack of Middletown; one granddaughter, Susan Stillwell and one grandson, Steven Stillwell, both of New Castle. She was a member of the First Christian Church and a former resident of Cadiz. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Fox and Macer Funeral Home with Rev. R. Melvyn Thompson in charge. Burial will be in the Hess Cemetery at Cadiz. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Thursday.
