Clipping hand dated 9/4/53 Mrs. Stiggleman, 54, Dies at Her Home Following Illness Mrs. Bessie Stiggleman, 54, died this morning at her home at 2020 Plum Street, after an extended illness. She was a life-long resident of New Castle and a member of the First Christian Church. Survivors include her father William H. Strong of New Castle; three daughters, Mrs. George Luke of New Castle; Mrs. Don Helms of near Pittsburg, Pa., and Mrs. Phillip Cronk at home and five sisters, Mrs. Conrad Geisler of Muncie; Mrs. Carol Thoman of Tampa, Fla.; Mrs. R.C. Strickland of Ft. Worth, Texas; Mrs. Henry Jacobs of Hollywood, Fla.; and Mrs. Stanley Jarvis of New Castle. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Main and Sons funeral home with Rev. Elmer Adams in charge of the service. Burial will be in South Mound Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday.
