Otha Stotelmyer, Well Known City Resident, Dead

Otha F. Stotelmyer, 73, husband of Ethel C. Stotelmyer, died early this morning at his home, 917 S. 20th St., following an illness of several months.

A resident of New Castle for over 50 years, Mr. Stotelmyer came here from Hagerstown. He and his wife celebrated their golden wedding anniversary three years ago.

A one time employee of the Jesse French Piano Co., he was connected with the City Water Works here for over 25 yeras.

He was a member of the First Methodist Church, the Patriac Militant of I.O.O.F., Rebekah Lodge No. 19 and of Odd Fellows Lodge No. 59 for 53 years.

Besides his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Lucille Hall, Miss Janet and Miss Dorothea Stotelmyer, all at home, and Mrs. Robert Dillon of Garrett; two sons, Fred and George, both of Winchester; one sister, Mrs. George Stom of Mackinaw City, Mich.; seven grandchildren.

The body has been removed to the Macer Funeral Home where friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday.

Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Saturday by Rev. J. Thomas Frost. Burial will be in South Mound Cemetery.

The Odd Fellows Lodge will hold services at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
