Open house will be held from 2 until 6 p.m. Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Otha Stotelmyer, 917 S. 20th St., New Castle, in observance of their golden wedding anniversary. Invitations have not been issued, but friends and relatives are invited to attend.
Married June 28, 1906, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.L. Ginn of Winchester, by the Rev. Hugh Norris, the couple came to New Castle where they have continued to reside. Mr. Stotelmyer is the son of the late Dr. C.I. Stotelmyer of Hagerstown.
They are the parents of Fred and George Stotelmyer of Winchester, Mrs. Robert E. Dillon of Garrett, Mrs. Lucile Hall, Janet and Dorothea at home. One son is deceased, and there are seven grandchildren. Mrs. George Stom of Mackinaw City, Mich., is a sister to Mr. Stotelmyer.
The Stotelmyers have been members of the Methodist Church for 50 years. Mrs. Stotelmyer is an active member of the WSCS, Rebekah and Royal Neighbors of America lodge, Research Club and War Mothers. Mr. Stotelmyer retired last August, due to ill health, from the New Castle Water and Light Plant. He is a 50-year member of the Odd Fellows Lodge and Canton Auxiliary.
