Jess Wiley, 64, Contractor Here Dies Suddenly at Residence

Funeral Thursday at Funeral Home

Jess Wiley, 64, 1111 S. 19th St., a well-known contractor here, died suddenly Monday evening at his home.

He had lived here for about 25 years, coming here from Rushville, and was a member of the Big Flatrock Christian church in Rush county.

Surviving are the wife, Lottie; daughter, Mrs. Melvin Mohler of New Castle; a son, Don Wiley of Indianapolis; grandsons, Gary Grose and Robert Wiley; four sisters, MRs. William Merrill of Hamilton, O., Mrs. Lucy Merrill of Rushville, Mrs. Dee Farlow of Rushville and Mrs. Glenn Abernathy of Greenfield; a brother, Clifford of Waldon and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Main and Son funeral home with Rev. Paul E. Spurgeon in charge.

Burial will be a South Mound cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. tonight.
