Clipping hand dated Aug 6, 1949 Carl S. Wood, 38, Chrysler Employe, Dies at Home Here Carl S. Wood, 38, died Saturday evening at his home, 120 Park Ave., following an illness of several months. He had been employed in Dept. 84 at the Chrysler factory for the past 14 years and was a member of the Christian church. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Frances Wood; two daughters, Jean Kay and Karen Elaine, at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis E. Wood, Cincinnati; a brother, Bill Wood, Cincinnati, and a sister, Mrs. Martha Bettner, Terre Haute. Friends may call at the Fox and Macer funeral home where services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock with Rev. J.W. Kinnett of Indianapolis officiating. Burial will be in South Mound cemetery.
