James M. Woodward, 59, died Sunday morning at his home, 1609 D Ave, following a brief illness. Mr. Woodward was a member of the Moose and Eagles lodges and the UAW. He had been employed at the Chrysler plant for some time.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Bessie B. Woodward; two daughters, Mrs. John Eddy of Chicago and Mrs. Jess Riggs, Shirley; two sons, James Orville Woodward, Springfield, O., and LeRoy Arndt Woodward, New Castle; and four grandchildren.
The body is at the Fox and Macer funeral home where friends may call at any time and where services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. Paul Recher in charge. Burial will be in South Mound cemetery.
