Robert Crandall Spell b. 1845 in Sulphur Springs, Henry Co., IN. He was a soldier in the 121 Reg. 9th Vol. IN Calvary. He died May 10, 1865 from starvation in Andersonville prison in a Jackonsville, FLA POW Hospital. He is buried at Beaufort National Cemetery in South Carolina.

Sarah Spell b. 1848 in Henry Co., IN married Octavious Shaffer on April 1, 1864 in Henry Co., IN. She died in 1919 in Henry Co., IN.
