Crown Point Cemetery was established in 1867 by the Kokomo City Council. Dr. Horace A. Armstrong was the first burial on November 22, 1868. The Civil War Monument was erected in 1886 and is 50 feet six inches tall. The cost of the monument was $7,450. The cemetery is located at 1101 East Sycamore Street, Kokomo, Indiana. It is the largest cemetery in Howard County containing 65 acres with 29,737 graves.
