Kathleen Allman, 87, Brownstown, passed away at 4:52 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 31, 2010, at The Waters of Salem.
Mrs. Allman was a member of Ratcliff Grove Christian Church and had worked at Medora Plastics Factory and Freetown Shoe Factory.
Born Aug. 27, 1923, in Jackson County, she was the daughter of Frank and Bessie Dale Callahan Ratcliff, both of whom preceded her in death. She married Irvin Allman, who also preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Steve Allman and Mike (Lisa) Allman, Vallonia; one daughter, Connie Timbers, Brownstown; one brother, Lloyd Bob (Donna) Ratcliff, Cortland; one sister, Dorothy (Cedric) Fowler, Southport; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Audy Ratcliff; one sister, Orpha Scott; and one grandchild, Bill Steinkamp.
Jean Pogue will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Thursday at Spurgeon Funeral Home Inc., Brownstown. Burial will take place at Smallwood Cemetery.
