Frieda Ault Obituary
Seymour Daily TribuneFrieda Ault, 84, Medora, died at 8:40 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2007, at Heritage House, Seymour.
Mrs. Ault was a member of Medora Wesleyan Church and was a homemaker. She enjoyed her family, fishing and the Medora Senior Citizens. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 260, Portage, and also was a charter member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7760.
Born Dec. 8, 1922, in Sparksville, she was a daughter of Roy E. Reynolds and Barbara Ellen Tidd, both of whom preceded her in death. She was raised by Myrtle Mae Harry, who also preceded her in death. She married Ervin "Shine" Byarlay, who died in 1976. She married Clifford Ault, who died in November 1996.
Survivors include two sons, Ervin "Gene" (Barb) Byarlay, Valparaiso, and Ronald G. (Dessie) Byarlay, Medora; two daughters, Barbara (Tony) Colwell, Seymour, and Rosa "Lee" (Frank) Eaton, North Stratford, N.H.; a stepdaughter, Rita (Mike) Burton, Edinburgh; a sister, Rovena "Faye" (Darwin) Reynolds, Medora; 20 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Richard "Dick" Byarlay; a stepson, Ricky Ault; two brothers, Everett Eugene Reynolds and an infant brother; a sister, Alegrieth Speer; and two grandchildren, Ervin Byarlay and Jason Eaton.
The Rev. Chuck Morgan and the Rev. Stan Thomas will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hague Funeral Home, Medora. Burial will take place at Weddelville Cemetery, Medora.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
