Louise M. Ault Obituary
Tribune - February 4, 2011Louise M. Ault, 86, Seymour, passed away at 4 a.m. Tuesday, February 1, 2011.
Ms. Ault graduated from Bobtown Grade School and then Cortland High School in 1943. She then went right to work at Ray's Quality Cleaners, taking care of the soldiers' cleaning from Freeman Field. She worked there for 50 years, retiring in 1993 and loved the people she worked for and those she served. She also was an accomplished seamstress, sewing for people since grade school. Miss Ault was a member of Central Christian Church, Seymour, for more than 50 years.
Born February 9, 1924, in Bartholomew County, she was the daughter of Frank and Daisy Smith Ault, both of whom preceded her in death.
Survivors include her good friends and caretakers, Karen and Dennis Peters, Seymour, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Sara Elizabeth Ellis and Jane Ruth Ault and two brothers, Ross Allen Ault and Robert Lee Ault.
The Rev. Edgar Keinath will conduct the funeral service at 1 p.m. Sunday, at Burkholder Funeral Chapel, Seymour. Burial will take place at Mount Healthy Cemetery, after the service.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, and from noon until time of service Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be given to Mount Healthy Cemetery or to the donor's choice of charity.
