Peggy Lou Babbs Obituary
Tribune - March 8, 2010Peggy Lou Babbs, 62, Vallonia, dead at 7:18 a.m. Sunday, March 7, 2010, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Brownstown, and had worked as a secretary at Robertson Feed Mill. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars in Salem.
She was born July 14, 1947, in Seymour, the daughter of Herbert Beickman Anna Peters Beickman, both of whom preceded her in death.
She was lifelong resident of Jackson County.
She married Norman L. Babbs on Oct. 28, 1967, in Brownstown. He survives.
Other survivors include her children, Lora Babbs of Vallonia and Matthew (Jennifer) Babbs of Seymour; and a grandchild, Camden Babbs.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph Beickman and Alan Beickman.
Pastor Charles Groth will conduct the funeral at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Brownstown. Burial will follow at Vallonia Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Home and one hour before services Wednesday at the church.
