James W. Bales Obituary
Tribune - November 17, 2010 (1947 - 2010)James W. Bales, 62, Freetown, died at 6:25 a.m. Monday, Nov. 15, 2010, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour.
He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War and later was a security guard.
Mr. Bales enjoyed fishing and spending time with his nephews and friends.
Born Dec. 20, 1947, in Indianapolis, he was the son of James and Leah Eggers Bales. His father survives in Martinsville, and his mother preceded him in death.
Other survivors include one brother, Lloyd Bales, Martinsville; one sister, Alice Greathouse, Freetown; and three nephews, Jeff Greathouse, Charley Greathouse and Tommy Greathouse, all of Freetown.
He was preceded in death by his mother and two brothers, William Bales and Vernon Bales.
