Carl C. Barger Obituary
Seymour Daily TribuneCarl C. Barger, 50, Austin, died at 10 p.m. Thursday, July 27, 2006, at his residence.
Mr. Barger was a member of Trinity House of God, Austin. He was a resident of Scott County since 1964. He was the owner and operator of Austin Auto Sales in Austin and was a former service and body shop manager for Arbuckle Chevrolet for 30 years.
Born Dec. 22, 1955, in Hazard, Ky., he was the son of Leroy Barger and Della Marie (Browning) Barger, both of whom preceded him in death. He married Natasha Barger, who survives.
Others survivors include two sons, Charlie Barger, Austin, and Tommy Burns, Lakeland, Fla.; three daughters, Carla Owens, Scottsburg, Kathy Babcock, Austin, Amanda Barger, Brownstown; three brothers, Marion Barger and Elmer Barger, both of Austin; Benny Barger, Scottsburg; two sisters, Evelyn Upton, Vincennes, and Ruth Spicer, Austin; and several grandchildren.
Pastor Bud Bowling will conduct funeral services at noon today at Collins Funeral Home, Scottsburg. Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery, Scottsburg.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon today at the funeral home.
