Nancy Justine Barnett Obituary
Seymour Daily TribuneNancy Justine Barnett, 59, Seymour, died at 3:40 a.m. Monday, Oct. 30, 2006, at her residence.
Mrs. Barnett was a cashier for Western-Southern Life Insurance Co. for 35 years. She loved camping and was a third-generation owner/operator of Camp Sutsus, where her late grandfather, Dr. R.G. Haas, had purchased the property from the Elks Club. She was a member of First Baptist Church; Eagles Aerie 655 Auxiliary; Rolling Hills Shrine Club Auxiliary; Order of the Eastern Star, Brownstown Chapter 364; Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1925 Ladies Auxiliary; and American Legion Post 89 Auxiliary.
Born March 26, 1947, in Seymour, she was a daughter of Norman F. and LaVaun L. Ferry Haas, both of whom preceded her in death.
Survivors included a son, Michael N. Barnett, Seymour; two brothers, Jeff (Sharon) Haas, Smithville, and Joe (Yvonne) Haas, Seymour; a sister; Jeanine Baxter, Seymour; several nieces and nephews; and her companion, Harold N. Tatum Jr.
The Rev. Bruce Cochran will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Burkholder Funeral Chapel, Seymour. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to Schneck Medical Center Hospice or to the donor's choice.
