Betty Jane Mundy Bear Obituary
May 1, 2006 - Seymour Daily TribuneBetty Jane Mundy Bear, 80, Seymour, died Friday, April 28, 2006, at her residence.
Mrs. Bear was a housewife and a member of the Eagles Lodge. Born September 10, 1925, in Cicero, she was a daughter of Isaac Newton and Pearl L. King Mundy, both of whom preceded her in death. On November 20, 1948, she married James J. Bear, who survives.
Survivors include two brothers-in-law, Ray (Virginia) Bear and Jessie Dunlap; a sister-in-law, Charlotte (Freddy) Carlisle; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Phylip and Robert Mundy; a stepbrother, Gerald King; a sister-in-law, Barbara Dunlap; and her father- and mother-in-law, Calvin and Mary Bear.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Voss Chapel, Seymour Burial will take place at Dupont Cemetery.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
