Alleen Bennett Obituary
Seymour Daily TribuneAlleen Bennett, 73, Austin, died Sunday, May 12, 2002, at Americare Nursing Home, Anderson.
Mrs. Bennett was a member of the Free Apostolic Church of God.
Born June 23, 1928, in Perry County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of Roy Wombles and Nellie Couch.
She is survived by a son, Ronald W. Snowden, Austin; a daughter, Ruby Bowling, Austin; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jimmy Wombles, Palm Bay, Florida, and Jesse Wombles, Melbourn, Florida; and three sisters, Marie Thacker, Smithville, Arkansas, Betty Plaster, Free Port, Illinois, and Carolyn A. Wombles, Scottsburg.
The Rev. Robert Vires will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Buchanan Funeral Home, Austin. Burial will be at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Austin.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
