Wilma Huizinga Bennett Obituary
Seymour Tribune December 2008Wilma Bennett, 64, Seymour, passed away at 8:57 a.m. Saturday, December 27, 2008, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour.
She was a graduate of Grand Valley State University where she earned a degree in teaching. She later quit teaching to raise her two girls and then she went back to work at Attus Home Health Care.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Seymour.
Born June 1, 1944, in the Netherlands, she was the daughter of George and Elizabeth Neihoff Huizinga, both of whom preceded her in death. On August 16, 1969, in Holland, Michigan, she married Arthur Bennett, who survives. Other survivors include her daughters, Jami Bennett and Kati Bennett; a brother, John (Carol) Huizinga; and three sisters, Theresa Huizinga, Ann West and Edna (Tom) Hofstra.
The Rev. Lawrence Jackson will conduct a memorial service at 7 p.m. Monday at Voss Chapel, Seymour. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
