LaQuida S. Benton Obituary
Seymour Daily TribuneLaQuida S. Benton, 57, Medora, died at 10:23 p.m. Monday, April 22, 2002, at Bedford Regional Medical Hospital, Bedford.
Mrs. Benton was a homemaker and a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Medora. She loved to sew and read.
Born November 2, 1944, in Evergreen Park, Illinois, she was a daughter of Bernard Bartusch and Harriett Kessall Bartusch, who both preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, Ray Benton, Medora; a son, Michael Ray Benton, Medora; two daughters, Bernadette Baker, Granite City, Illinois, and Laura Jean Turner, Gary Summit, Missouri; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Jerry Bartusch, Kankakee, Illinois, Lonnie Bartusch, Quincy, Illinois, and Wayne Bartusch, Las Vegas; and a sister, Sharon Anema, Mountain Home, Arkansas
The Rev. Larry Mallett will conduct funeral services at 2 p.m. Friday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hague Funeral Home, Medora, and from 11 a.m. until time of services Friday at the church.
