Melba Louise Board, 81, Seymour, died Thursday, June 29, 2006, at IU Hospital, Indianapolis.
Mrs. Board was a homemaker and a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Born March 14, 1925, in Seymour, she was a daughter of Martin and Ida Mae (Deppert) Shade, both of whom preceded her in death. On June 19, 1961, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, she married Wilford Board, who preceded her in death on September 9, 1972.
Survivors include two sisters, Dorothy Wayman, Seymour, and Betty Barger, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Alberta Nentrup, Marietta Nieman and Kathryn Waggoner, and two brothers, Kenneth Shade and Clarence Shade.
Pastor Andrew Currao will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. today at Redeemer Lutheran Church. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. today at Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Memorials may be given to Redeemer Lutheran Church Hymnal Fund.
