Ervin E. Bohall Obituary
Tribune - January 22, 2010
Ervin E. Bohall, 79, Seymour, passed away at 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.
Mr. Bohall retired from Ford Motor Co., Indianapolis, after 30 years of service. He was a member of Crothersville Church of the Nazarene and Local Union 1111. He liked sports, especially watching Indiana University basketball, and he enjoyed playing softball as he played on the Ford Motor Co. team and played in the Greenwood Methodist softball league. He was a former church board member at Southport Church of the Nazarene. One of his favorite hobbies was gardening. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was stationed in New York, Mississippi and Alaska.
Born July 6, 1930, in Seymour, he was the son of Garris and Pansy Loudermilk Bohall, both of whom preceded him in death. On June 27, 1952, he married Jane E. Whitcomb Bohall in Seymour.
Survivors include his wife; children, the Rev. Douglas (Rhea) Bohall and Dr. Steven (Barbara) Bohall; brother, Daryl (Darlene) Bohall; grandchildren, Jonathan (Pollyanna) Bohall, Rachel Bohall, Brian Bohall and Bradley Bohall; and stepgrandchildren, Ryan Furry, Lauren Furry and Eric Furry.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Bohall, and sister, Norma Budde.
The Rev. Mark Wooten will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m. Monday at Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour, with full military graveside services conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Disabled American Veterans and Korean and Vietnam Veterans.
Friends may call from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Monday at the funeral home.
