Jane E. Bohall Obituary
Seymour Tribune - June 14, 2010Jane E. Bohall, 79, of Seymour passed away at 5:57 p.m. Friday, June 11, 2010, at Schneck Medical Center.
Mrs. Bohall was born in Seymour on June 8, 1931, a daughter of the late Bertha (Gardner) and Howard Whitcomb. On June 27, 1952, she married Ervin E. Bohall in Seymour.
Jane was employed for 28 years with the Greenwood Community School Corp. as an administrative treasurer. She was past president of the Greenwood Little League, ladies auxiliary.
She was an active member of Crothersville Church of the Nazarene. Throughout her life she served in various church roles, as a board member, nursing home visitation and church missions.
Jane even found time to entertain as a clown with The Giggles and More Clown Ministry.
Mrs. Bohall is survived by her two sons, the Rev. Douglas (Rhea) Bohall and Dr. Steven (Barbara) Bohall; grandchildren, Jonathan (Pollyanna) Bohall, Rachel Bohall, Brian Bohall and Bradley Bohall; and stepgrandchildren, Ryan Furry, Lauren Furry and Eric Furry; great-granddaughter, Avonlee Bohall; sister-in-law, Kay Whitcomb; brother and sister-in-law, Daryl and Darlene Bohall; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, Thomas Whitcomb, and sisters, Ina Schornick and Margaret Plump.
Funeral service for Mrs. Bohall will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Voss Chapel, Seymour, with the Rev. Mark Wooten officiating.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday until time of service at Voss Chapel.
Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
