Elizabeth Ann "Beth" Brackemyre Obituary
Tribune - March 1, 2010Elizabeth Ann "Beth" Brackemyre, 55, of Seymour passed away Sunday, February 28, 2010, at her residence, following a year-long battle with cancer.
Mrs. Brackemyre was employed at Jay C Foods corporate office in Seymour. She loved to play golf, volleyball, cards and do things with her grandchildren. She also loved spoiling her dog, Bogey. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Seymour, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Women of the Moose, Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary and Delta Theta Tau Sorority, all of Seymour.
Beth was born in Seymour, on October 15, 1954, the daughter of the late Raymond A. and Mary Joan Sinkes Hauersperger. She married Charles "Chuck" Brackemyre on February 14, 1988, in Deerfield Beach, Florida
Beth is survived by her husband; one brother, Allan (Susan) Hauersperger; two sisters, Barb (Bill) Ostdiek and Sally (Roger) Doyle; one stepson, Justin Charles (Kristin) Brackemyre; two stepgrandchildren, Madison and Brayton Hauersperger; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Julie Ann Hauersperger; and two brothers, Fred Joseph Hauersperger and Gib Hauersperger.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Voss Chapel in Seymour with Father Dan Staublin officiating.
Friends and family may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour.
